Third Party Content Creation
Introduction
Hello and welcome to Projek Hikayat. Outlined in this short third party content creation guide is Projek Hikayat’s (hereinafter referred to as “We”, “Our” or “Us”) policy towards content created by any third party (hereinafter referred to as “You” or “Your”). Any third party content (hereinafter referred to as “Work”, “Projects”, “Derivative Works” or “Fan-made Content”) is expected to adhere to these guidelines (hereinafter referred to as “Guidelines”).

We retain the rights to revise these guidelines without giving prior notice. You are responsible for keeping yourself updated with these guidelines to avoid complications.
Scope of Third Party Content
Projek Hikayat defines derivative works/fan-made content as any and all work created by a third party which is based on our content, IPs, trademarks and/or logo.
While we encourage and embrace fan-made content wholeheartedly, we will not hesitate to take action against any work which does not comply with the guidelines listed below. Please note that by participating in the act of creating derivative works/fan-made content, you are consenting to the modification and use of your work in our videos, thumbnails and future projects. In all cases, proper accreditation to the relevant parties will be given.
Content Creation Guidelines
You are responsible for your adherence to the following guidelines:

Be creative! Action will be taken against any third party content that lacks sufficient creative modification or input.

Generally speaking, fan-made content which has been modified with subtitles and memes are fine while simply reuploading VODS is not. Do note however, that it is ultimately up to Projek Hikayat to define what we consider “sufficient creative modification or input”.

Refrain from creating any derivative works that could be misinterpreted as official work from Projek Hikayat. Any use of our IPs, trademarks and/or logo in any projects must first receive written consent from Projek Hikayat.

Ensure that your fan-made content complies with relevant laws and regulations. This includes the laws and regulations of Malaysia, your host country and relevant platforms.

Refrain from creating third party content that may be deemed as inappropriate.

This includes third party content that…

a) Pertains to a particular religious or political ideology
b) Contradicts public morality
c) Is harmful towards our image and the image of our talents
d) Is discriminatory towards a particular third party
e) Any content that we deemed as improper.
Depending on our talent’s consent, NSFW content is permissible so long as the relevant hashtags are used.
Conclusion
By listing the terms of third party content creation in this here guidelines, Projek Hikayat in no way relinquishes our right to refuse or take action against any fan-made content or derivative works. We reserve the rights to protect our IPs, trademarks and logo at our discretion. We are not responsible for any disputes, legal action or violations that occur as a result of the use of our IPs, trademarks, logo and content in any derivative works.
